Who I am
I’m Navkiran Nahal, and I run Live Life Psychotherapy from 7 Woodstock Avenue, Radford, Nottingham NG7 5QP. I am the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact me about your data on 07943 035288 or through the form on this site.
What this notice covers
This notice covers the details you send through the “Book A Call” form on this website. If you go on to have therapy with me, I will explain how I keep your therapy records when we agree our contract.
What I collect
When you send the form I collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the best time to call you, and whether I can leave an answerphone message
- anything you choose to tell me in the “Client Details” box
What you write in that box may include information about your mental or physical health. The law treats this as special category data and gives it extra protection. Only share what you’re comfortable sharing; you can tell me everything else when we talk.
Why I use it and my lawful basis
I use your details only to contact you about your enquiry and to arrange a free consultation.
- For your contact details, my lawful basis is taking steps at your request before we agree to work together.
- For any health information you share, my lawful basis is your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by asking me to delete your enquiry.
Who else handles it
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website, stores form submissions and emails them to me. Netlify may process data in the United States under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
- Content Over Common Sense Marketing Ltd builds and manages this website and can see enquiries in order to support it. It does not use your details for anything else.
- Yahoo, my email provider, stores the email I receive about your enquiry.
- Google provides the “I’m not a robot” check (reCAPTCHA) on the form, which protects it from spam. To do this Google receives your IP address and some information about your browser; see Google’s privacy policy.
I never sell your details or share them for marketing.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are deleted from the website’s systems after 30 days. If we don’t go on to work together, I delete your enquiry from my email within 6 months.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or tracking for analytics or advertising. The only cookies come from Google reCAPTCHA, the spam check on the Book A Call form, and they are set only when that form is on screen.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how I use it, by calling 07943 035288 or using the form on this site. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
